#TogetherfortheBalticSea

The Błonie brand was revived out of passion for classical watchmaking, but also, equally importantly, for Polish tradition, heritage and history. A history with which it inextricably stems from the Baltic Sea. With his good at heart, we decided to support the MARE Foundation, which has been working to improve the condition of the Baltic Sea since the last time. For each Błonie Delfin timer sold, we will donate PLN 100 to the statutory goals of the foundation, thanks to which it will gain additional funds to complete its mission. Thank you for your input.

Many iconic watches were manufactured in the Błońsk factory, which today enchant with their classic form. One of them, Delfin, served as a source of inspiration for our own project. We have created a watch that refers to the retro-divers style, but at the same time has many typical “Błońsk” features.

On the new Dolphin’s dial, we embossed horizontal waves and a small silhouette of a dolphin to indicate which of the “membranes” was our inspiration. The shape of the hour and minute hands is a direct reference to the original Dolphin, but in our project we filled them with fluorescent mass, thanks to which they are clearly visible in all conditions. References to the classics can also be found in the layout and shape of hand-applied indexes. On the Delfin dial there are digital markings 12 and 6, just like in the original model, which were additionally covered with fluorescent paint to increase their readability. We applied a similar procedure for the indices at 3 and 9 o’clock.
